First Aid

3. Provide rescuers with proper respiratory protection, preferably a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).

INGESTION:

1. Do not induce vomiting.

2. If conscious and not convulsing, give 1-2 glasses of water and call for medical help.

3. Prepare to transport the victim to a hospital if advised by a physician.

4. If convulsing or unconscious, do not give anything by mouth, ensure the airway is open, and lay the victim on their side with the head lower than the body. Transport immediately to a hospital (NTP, 1992).
